Our Story

Founded in September 2018, “On Your Shelf” began with just a couple of items, a spark of passion, and a lot of heart. It all started with the encouragement of my dear friend, Humda Qureshi (Founder at Odd & Eve), whose creativity and enthusiasm for seeing her friends succeed gave life to our brand name and logo while we sat together, exchanging ideas and spreading positivity. I still remember the excitement of On Your Shelf’s first order—the moment I opened an account with a courier company to send it out, marking the beginning of a journey that felt destined to be.

Growth came slowly but steadily, keeping me busy not with expectations but with a genuine love for what I was bringing forward. From designing my own wrapping paper and ribbons to navigating challenges like improving our packaging, every step was a lesson learned. Each small victory, and even the setbacks, were essential parts of On Your Shelf’s growth.

Fast forward to 2024, and despite the rising competition, we continue to flourish because we believe that everyone’s fate is uniquely written. Today, we’re proud to produce many of our own products, which have received so much love and support from all of you. Our journey wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of not just our new customers but also my family and friends—my true, steadfast supporters who have been with On Your Shelf since day one.

I owe special thanks to my husband, who has taken on the financial side of the business when he saw how overwhelming it was becoming for me. His support has been a crucial part of keeping “On Your Shelf” moving forward.

Our dedicated team has grown into the backbone of “On Your Shelf,” making it possible to bring our vision to life. We’ve faced our share of low days, but each one has been a stepping stone, a learning experience that has made us stronger.

Thank you to our incredible supporters, our cherished customers, and our hardworking team. You have all played a vital role in our story.

With gratitude and love,
